We finally decided to leave our sweet boy for an evening of exploration tonight. I was a little nervous about leaving him with our house cleaner but she offered and she was really sweet, and I am so glad we did because we had a magical evening, however short it was. We took a cab to Sugar Loaf and rode the cars up to the top just in time for a magical sunset. I brought my camera and he brought his sketchbook and we each enjoyed a glass of red wine while partaking in our favorite past times and reconnecting with ourselves, and each other.
