Street Heart

Our plane set down in Rio early yesterday morning. The skies were gray and a light rain kept us inside for most of the day. We didn’t mind. It was cozy and the feel of a new place was warm inside our hearts. Today we ventured out and learned that our new neighborhood was filled with street heart. The walls covered by the colorful imagination of Brazil. We love this place. Already.

I only had my phone today but from now on I will definitely be cruising the streets with my canon and collecting the street heart as I go.

Crystal Stafford,

THIS

This is what it’s all about. That man and the tiny, little human and the water color sunshine painting the last rays of the day onto the first of the night sky. That light and this love. This is magic. All the magic that I will ever need. ???????????? Magic 307/365, This Magic, Playa Guiones, …

And my favorite hotel in Jax, pictured in the background, One Ocean Resort. If you ever want to visit Jax Beaches, go for the 4th of July. Everybody ditches …

It’s a thing. The only thing better than getting together with these people is getting together …

Crystal Stafford,

Tamarindo Wins

I couldn’t make it down to the beach today for sunset because it was raining. I stayed here, cozy in my apartment, listening to my favorite song, the thunder and rain. There is nothing more soothing to me. So instead of another Nosara sunset photo, here is one snapped with my iPhone back in October …

Goodbye New Zealand

There are some landscapes that are so beautiful that you don’t even need a fancy camera and lens to capture it. New Zealand is full of such landscapes. This is a photo I snapped from the air plane as I was leaving using my iPhone. My trip to New Zealand was a whirlwind. I went …

The Phare

This is a photo I took at the Phare Cambodian Circus. The Phare is not your typical circus with clowns and elephants. It’s a modern circus, which is kind of like a modern dance performance with gymnastic and stunts. And it’s AMAZING. The performance outlined Cambodia’s struggle to rebuild its culture after the Khmer Rouge’s …
