Deep in the Heart of Texas

Crystal Stafford,

That’s where I am right now. And this place scares me. After leaving this mega-consumerist bubble we call ‘Merica, dropping myself back into a place like Mansfield, Texas is a culture shock to the extreme. It’s got all the most generic shops, all the chain restaurants. Everything is just so fake. It’s like a propaganda machine to keep the rats running in place and depositing their coin so the rich can get richer and look down on the tiny people falling for it all. Needing more and more all the time.

And the best, this is a license plate of the car in front of me while waiting at a red light.

What? The fuck.

This photo was actually taken in Gbadolite during a bed net campaign. I wonder the places this hat saw before it found its final resting place in Gbadolite. If only Texans could follow the path of this hat and experience places like Gbado. They might learn that they really don’t need much to make them happy.
