Safari Life

Crystal Stafford, Halali Camp, Etosha National Park, Nambia

When I first booked our trip to Etosha National Park, I thought five days might be too many. I was wrong. I could have spent months driving around this park photographing wildlife. In fact, I daydream regularly about returning to Namibia and also exploring the many other wildlife parks in Botswana, Tanzania, Kenya, etc. There are so many too see! How do I make a life of this? Of safari? I need to figure that out because I am pretty sure I would be quite happy living the rest of my life on safari.

This is a picture I took on our first night in Etosha at Halali Camp. After settling into our bungalow we walked out to the local watering hole to catch the sunset. There was an impressive look out nestled in the rocks overlooking the watering hole. It was so quiet and serene. There weren’t any animals partaking but we were happy to just sit and soak in the beautiful view.
