This is the first photo that I ever took of Spiritualized Life. I took it with this super shitty tiny digital camera but have loved this photo for decades ever since. It has been the wallpaper for multiple generations of laptops, including the one I currently have. It has become a piece of me, of home, that I take with me everywhere. Just as I used to sit at the foot of this statue and contemplate my life, I now sit at my laptop, where ever in the world I am and do the same, always at the foot of this statue.
